Role of the Academic Council

The International Institute of Mass Media has a nodal academic body called the “Academic Council”.

• The members of the Academic Council are leading journalists from the electronic media, print media, reputed and experienced faculty members of advertising, mass communication, media management and media laws.

• The Academic Council helps the Institute in drafting the syllabus as per the requirements of the industry and also formulates the programmes for the development & enhancement of professional skills of the students.

• The Academic Council of IIMM holds a quarterly meeting to supervise and analyze the teaching methods, quality of teaching, the progress of the students and monitors the practical training and exposure that they are receiving at IIMM.

• The Academic Council helps in the development of students as well as the development of the institute.
