The IIMM was established in the year 1999 by three young, dynamic entrepreneurs. It was their vision to serve the society
by providing quality education at affordable price.
Government body recognition
The Institute has been established under Mass Media Education Society and has been registered with "Societies Registration Act-XXI
of 1860" with Govt. of N.C.T of Delhi, it is an approved study centre of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, HISAR.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) recorgnized this University under Section 2(f) for the recognition of Degrees on 11.01.1996
and 12(b) of the UGC Act for financial grants on 07.02.1997.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (an autonomous institution of the UGC) has accredited Guru Jambheshwar University
at the 'A' level (among the universities) on 01.10.2002.
On due completion of their respective courses, degrees/diplomas are awarded to all successful candidates by Guru Jambheshwar University, governed by the Directorate of Distance Education. IIMM also awards diplomas/certificates on behalf of the Mass Media Education Society, registered under the Societies Act,1860.
Dual Diploma/Degree Programme
Candidates receive degree from Guru Jambheshwar University qualifying them for government placements and higer studies in India
and abroad.
A diploma in their area of specialization, is awarded by the Mass Media Education Society. This is widely recognised by private
organisations and placement agencies for its practical training and on the job exposure.
All the courses are designed and structured with a judicious blend of theoretical and practical knowledge, primary emphasis is laid on practical aspects in true-to-life situations. The curriculum are also constantly revised and updated to keep pace with development in the industry
