Procedure
of Admission |

| |
Candidates who fulfill the required minimum qualifications (if
applicable) should submit their application for the desired
course in the prescribed form which is attached at the end of
prospectus. |

Pattern
of Assessment |
|
|
|
 |
|
| |
The
evaluation would not only be theoretical but also equal
emphasis would be placed on practical tests. Students shall be
subjected to periodic tests and will be required to complete
all assignments/presentations for the purpose of internal
assessment. Student shall be called upon to submit all their
assignments within the specified time period. |

Degrees/Diplomas |
|
|

| |
On
due completion of their respective courses, degrees/ diplomas
are awarded to all successful candidates by G. J. University,
governed by the Directorate of Distance Education. Moreover,
IIMM also awards diplomas / certificates on behalf of Mass
Media Education Society, registered under the Societies Act,
1860. |

Reservations |

Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC as per government rules. |

1.
Some of the teaching faculty members mentioned in the
prospectus may discontinue teaching during academic sessions.
2.
Information regarding placement of students mentioned in the
prospectus may change from time to time. |

minimum total attendance of 75% is mandatory for appearing in
the diploma /degree/ certificate examinations.
All students have to appear in both the theory and practical
examinations to become eligible for the
diploma/degree/certificate.
Participation in the production exercise is obligatory for a
student as part of his/her course. |

Scholarships |

The
Institute offers a limited number of scholarships on a
merit-cum-need basis for each course. |
|

Candidates should note that the Institute shall neither make
any allowance nor shall be held responsible for any postal
delays or other irregularities in sending of application
forms. It will also not enter into any correspondence in
connection with incomplete, irregular/late applications or
even entertain unnecessary queries regarding the results of
entrance examination or selection, etc. |

General
Rules Regarding Fees and Accounts |
|
|
|
 |
|
| |
Fee
can be paid in cash/pay order/demand draft. Fee receipt must
be obtained from the accounts department.
If the last date for payment of fee is holiday, the fee shall
be paid on the next working day.
Fee once paid will not be refunded by the Institute to the
student, under any circumstances.
In case of failure to pay fee by the prescribed date,
additional amount of Rs. 50/- per day will be charged,
provided the dues are cleared within 10 days. After this, the
name of the students will be struck off the rolls and he/she
will be readmitted on an additional payment of Rs. 2500/-
In case of cancellation of admission, fee will not be refunded
to the student.
Demand Draft (DD) /Pay Order/Cheque should be drawn in favour
of ”International Institute of Mass Media” |
