Our Students
- Discipline includes the observance of good conduct and orderly behaviour by the students of the Institute.
- Entry to Institute premises is permitted only to valid identity card holder. Student shall always carry on his/her identity card.
- Tobacco and alcohol are strictly prohibited in campus.
- In case a student is found to be continuously absent from classes without information for a period of 15 days in one or more classes his/her name shall be struck off the rolls.
- Any student found guilty of impersonation or giving false name or found guilty of forgery shall be liable to disciplinary action.
- Breach of discipline shall includes :-
- irregularity in attendance.
- Disobeying the instruction of teacher or the authorities.
- Misconduct or misbehaviour of any nature towards a teacher or any employee of the institute or any visitor to the institute.
- Causing damage, spoiling or disfiguring the property/equipment of the institute.
- Giving publicity to misleading accounts or rumors amongst the students.
- Any other conduct anywhere which is considered to be unbecoming of a student.
- Student found guilty of breach of discipline shall be liable to such punishment as prescribed below
- fine
- campus ban
- expulsion.
- However, no such punishment shall be imposed on an erring student unless he/she is given a fair chance to defend himself/herself. Mean time Director can suspend an erring student during the pendency of disciplinary proceeding against him/her.
- All decision are to be made by the Governing Council must be considered standing.
