The admission procedure at IIMM is based on overall evaluation of the student. This is ensures that the quality of students joining the institute are suitable for placement as per industry requirements.
The student who fulfills the required academic qualification has to go through the following procedure for the admission into the mass communication course.
The written paper consists of the following three sections
The Part-1 of our Examination helps the institute to evaluate the writing skill, General Knowledge as well as the general awareness level of a candidate.
A group discussion amongst six to seven candidates based on a topic of general interest is the second part of the selection procedure. This is used to assess the leadership qualities, communication skills, group dynamics and the knowledge level of the candidate.
A personal interview is the final part of the procedure. Here the personality, communication skills, voice quality, presence of mind and general appearance are evaluated.
Note: Five seats in each course are reserved by management and are under the management quota. Candidates who fulfill the required academic qualification can contact the course coordinator for admission under this category. The admission procedure will not apply to them.
