This is a one year post graduate diploma programme in Advertising and Public Relations.
Advertising and Public Relations is known as Corporate Communication.
After successfully completing this PG Diploma, students can work with the Corporate Communication Departments of leading private sector organizations, MNCs, PSUs as well as with similar departments in the government.
The other option – one that students normally choose – is to work with an Advertising Agency or a third party PR firm which has a number of clients that can range from corporate organizations, political parties, NGOs, celebrities, political leaders to film and sports personalities, PSUs and government departments.
The roles that a student can specialize in range from client servicing to the media relations department of a PR firm, to PR and Advertising Strategy to Advertising Copywriting in English and Hindi to Ad Design.
Students also study Marketing as also how Advertising and Public Relations fits into the universe of Marketing and form important components of the Marketing Mix.
Consequently, students also have the option of working in the corporate sector.
Some of our ADPR students have gone on to build successful careers in marketing and content writing on the internet as well as in publications.
A few of our students now head marketing departments as well as the corporate communication departments of leading organizations.
